The Pet

Do you have a pet? My sister has one, which is a bird. She found the birth somewhere around my house without the mom. She took it and once the bird opens up its eyes, she thought my sister was the mother. She fed the bird, and kept it inside the room so that the cat won’t catch it. This is how the bird looks like…..

Cute isn’t it? I really want to see it myself and I hope by the time I go back in September, the bird should be able to fly. But yesterday my sister told me that the bird already died. I asked her why she let the cat go inside the room, but she said it wasn’t the cat. She said she took the bird with her while sleeping and accidently ‘tindih’ the bird.

I asked her why she brought the bird to sleep knowing that she will not be able feel its whereabouts, and she said the birds was making a lot of noise if she put it elsewhere and not by her side. She was very sad with what had happened.

Then I recalled last time when my little bro had a chick as his pet. The chick was abandoned by his/her J mom for the reason I am not so clear with. Then my bro kept the chick as a pet, and it seems that the chick thought that my bro was the mom and keeps following him around the house. It died the same way like the bird, but the only difference was I am the one who ‘killed’ it.

Re-Location

The current company I am working with has 4 plants in Bayan Lepas area which are located at separate locations except for Plant 1 & Plant 2. Currently I am working in Plant 1 as an Industrial Engineer. I have another three colleagues which is an IE as well. We are doing the same job, but only dealing with different customers.

After working in here for about four months,
next week I will be leaving my colleagues and friends at Plant 1. I will be transferred to another plant which is located about 3km or 4km away. I have a mix feeling about this re-location. Firstly, I am very comfortable with what I am doing now and also with the people around.

Moving to Plant 4 means leaving my friends behind. Not only my friends, but my colleagues as well. I will be the only IE there and of course the job requires greater responsibility and to be more challenging. Hesitating to go out of my comfort zone, nevertheless, I said yes to the re-location plan because the other side of me want to discover what they have in there.

I am now in the midst of training and transferring my current job to the newly hired IE. She is doing well so far and I think it is the best time for her to pick up everything before the next incoming project which is expected to be increased in the coming months.

I will be starting to work at Plant 4 by Tuesday next week. I do not know what to expect since I never been there and I do not know anybody around closely. But I believe its how you deal with people and fit in yourself into the crowd. Once you understand them well, and then start manipulating… hehe.

The Weekend

Hi my dear friends wherever you are. I had been in silence for the past 2 weeks if I am not mistaken. As usual, I were not in mood of writing and had very less time to think what the topic should be.

Last weekend, I was in KL for a ‘reunion’ with my sis, bro and dad. We had a great time and I just don’t want it to end too soon. We went shopping, eating, and sightseeing. Actually the main reason they are there is to attend my elder sister convocation which is held today.

We have fun, even though we had to use the face mask most of the time, especially in the crowded area. We do not want to take a risk of the current outbreak H1N1. I was once being ignorant too. But, seeing how serious they were to prevent any possibilities of infection, plus my girlfriend stern advice, I got worried and wore one too.

So, from now on, I promise to wear a face mask whenever I go to public places like shopping complex. I hope all of you out there do not take this matter lightly as prevention is better than cure. Hopefully face mask and hand sanitizer prices will not simply going up unreasonably.

Let us stand together to fight H1N1.

Do I look like a student? Yess, I do. Hehehe… I will post more pictures during the convocation day once I get it from my sister or brother. As for this moment, please enjoy the picture above.

While waiting for boarding at KLIA, I managed to take a picture of the aircraft. I am a huge fan of airplane but I don’t know why I did not enrol in Aeronautical Engineering School last time.

Then in a sudden, there were this little boy keep looking at me and giggling. He even went close and touched my leg. The mom did not realised this probably because she is looking at the plane as well. He even looked at me when I took his picture.

I wonder why this little child so excited. Do I look funny when I put my mask on? I took my own picture immediately.

I indeed looked funny.
