September 17th supposed to be a Public Holiday as stated by The Company's calendar. But today, one memo has been released saying that September 17th will be a normal working day, and September 13th be declared as Non working day.


For your information;
Sept 17th = Wednesday
Sept 13th = Saturday

This simply means the 1 day holiday merely cut off to half day. You see the so called logic there?

I asked the Admin in charge and according to her, the reason behind the changes is since all Saturday in September are working days, so The Company decided to move that Public Holiday to Saturday 13th.

According to them, such decision was made so that the employees can have more time with family.

I proposed; if that was their concern, why not make 2 Saturdays as an off day? (half + half maaa…)

Her response was “Banyak soal lah plak…. I tengah sibuk nih!!”…..


P/S: I hope the Admin of The Company will not find this writings. If they do, my message is: Do your job, don’t read blogs.
