My Dad

January'11 seems to be a tough one for me and my family. My dad has been hospitalized since last Tuesday due to Pneumonia. We pray so that his body will respond well with the treatment and so that he will recover soon. I never thought that he will ever have this illness because he seldom falling sick. It started with a normal flu, but he ignored it. His conditioned worsened and he started to have continuous fever and refused food. He became very weak and hardly talk or responds verbally.

We decided to have him admitted to the hospital and thanks to God, his condition is improving but still need to undergo several tests and treatment since he still have fever. The doctor said that he need to change his antibiotic to specifically kill the bacteria which has infected his blood/lung. Our prayer be always with him and my family even though me and wife are not there due to distance and working commitment.

In the meantime, I am happy and grateful to God for answering my prayer, so that my dad will be baptized one day. Yesterday at 1pm, he was baptized and was given a christian name as Abel. May God bless all of us and protect us from any evil.

My Ongoing Dilemma

All this while, I thought I already decided that I am going to stay in SG while working there. But lately, the idea of staying in JB while working in SG crossed my mind as well. If I am to stay in SG, it will less hectic to move around especially in the morning and evening. Anyhow, the room rent is expensive. Don't talk about renting a whole house. What if I wana have kids? All these questions keep on lingering inside my mind.

If I am to stay in JB, of course I can rent a whole house on my own, which will be more convenient if I am to have  kid or kids... and of course I would like to have one or two or more depending on my financial capability. My future prediction is,  by September 2011, I will become a father already.. God willing :) (Jangan kamu ingat si Paul saja pandai menilik)....

One of the disadvantages that I have to endure is, I have to wake up very early every morning. Safety issues in JB as I read crime rate is high over there. But I guess, sometime things comes in package. You can't choose, but have to decide base on your priority.

What about my gym membership? I purposely upgrade my membership to VVIP so I can access every center around the world including SG. Currently there are about 6-8 centers available in SG but none in JB.

Due to this dilemma, I decided to observe, plan, and act... this is not a mere PDCA practiced by many companies as one of their improvement method... hehe... I think, I should go and stay in SG first.... maybe in 2-5 months? until i become fully familiarize and adapt with everything. After that only I decide whether staying in JB is more favorable or not.. I mean, in a big picture, for me, my wife and my anak anak.

Leaving to KL

We (My fiancee n I) done our pre-weds photoshoot yesterday. It took us half day to for the indoor photoshoot, which means I have to find one suitable day maybe in July or Aug to go for the second photoshoot. This time, it would be for both indoor and outdoor. It went well, we are satisfied with the way it is conducted. In fact, we had fun doing it with the friendly photographer.

The preparation and decision making time was really short for us. We only have 3 days to shortlist which bridal house we would want to go, and we only managed to visit three of them. We have to decide on the following day, and go for the photo session before my leave ends which means yesterday. With all the rush, we don't know how is it look like yet. Hopefully it turns out well lah.

Today would be my last day here. I feel sad definitely, to have to leave my loved ones back in here. I could not find any better place than Sabah, although I dont like most of the drivers here. My life would be perfect if I can find one prospectful job here and to settle down with my loved ones around. But, this seems not going to happen in near time. Anyhow, I have faith that someday, I will be back here for good :)

I am going to pack up now, leaving my comfy airconditioned room..... Even though my house is being surrounded by jungle, but everything is complete. I have everything I need :).

I am going home...

Yesss... Today is the day! I am going back to my lovely hometown. I am packing my stuff now. Will catch my flight in the afternoon. I feel happy and relieved. I am happy because I can go for a long holiday, enjoy the foods and meeting with my frens n family. It will be a wonderful time over there. I relieved because I am getting better from the Flu. I can't wait to see my fiancee too.

My post will be very short today as I need more time to pack up my things... hahaha. One thing for sure, I will be enjoying lots and lots of beers as I have several events to attend. Wedding events for sure, and some outings as well. So, who cares.... I am not working anyway :)

One nice facts I read from the magazine (Menhealth). We always think that beer gives us belly. But the fact is:

1. When  we drink alcohol, liver stop using fatty acids for  fuel and switches to using alcohol instead.
2. So, it leaves the fatty acids it should have been using to be stored in adipose tissue.
3. Eventually, beer belly is formed.

Thank you, and have a great day! (THE END)

The Weekend

Hi my dear friends wherever you are. I had been in silence for the past 2 weeks if I am not mistaken. As usual, I were not in mood of writing and had very less time to think what the topic should be.

Last weekend, I was in KL for a ‘reunion’ with my sis, bro and dad. We had a great time and I just don’t want it to end too soon. We went shopping, eating, and sightseeing. Actually the main reason they are there is to attend my elder sister convocation which is held today.

We have fun, even though we had to use the face mask most of the time, especially in the crowded area. We do not want to take a risk of the current outbreak H1N1. I was once being ignorant too. But, seeing how serious they were to prevent any possibilities of infection, plus my girlfriend stern advice, I got worried and wore one too.

So, from now on, I promise to wear a face mask whenever I go to public places like shopping complex. I hope all of you out there do not take this matter lightly as prevention is better than cure. Hopefully face mask and hand sanitizer prices will not simply going up unreasonably.

Let us stand together to fight H1N1.

Do I look like a student? Yess, I do. Hehehe… I will post more pictures during the convocation day once I get it from my sister or brother. As for this moment, please enjoy the picture above.

While waiting for boarding at KLIA, I managed to take a picture of the aircraft. I am a huge fan of airplane but I don’t know why I did not enrol in Aeronautical Engineering School last time.

Then in a sudden, there were this little boy keep looking at me and giggling. He even went close and touched my leg. The mom did not realised this probably because she is looking at the plane as well. He even looked at me when I took his picture.

I wonder why this little child so excited. Do I look funny when I put my mask on? I took my own picture immediately.

I indeed looked funny.

My Sister's Convocation Pt 1

Today supposed to be a stock count day in my company. But I am taking a day leave as I need to attend my sister’s convocation. It took me approx. an hour drive to Batu Ferringhi and thanks God the travel was still considered as smooth.

I reached there around 8.00 a.m. I thought I was late. But the VIP’s was late as hell like nobody business. If I were the PM, I already sacked this kind of ‘Tetamu Kehormat’. No offence ye datuk datuk n datin datin….. I didn’t mention any name by the way…. Heheh…..

When I entered the main hall, and as I saw the new graduates, I felt their excitement too. Everybody seems to be happy and the situation brings back old memory of my own in 2005. I rush to find my sister, and within a minute I saw them talking to each other happily. Since I was the photographer that time, I took as much picture as possible.

Being a ‘videographer’ also, I managed to make one unprofessional ‘Clip (hehe)’ for my sister while she was receiving her cert. I don’t want to share it here as I know you will laugh of seeing it. I am not able to put any pics at the moment as the camera is not with me. Will put some after receive it from my sister. A big congratulations for her by the way!!!

I enjoyed the choir performances and also the ambience of young people shouting here and there congratulating and giving support. In a sudden, I realized that I am 27 years old. Doesn’t mean I am old, but I feel old when younger people around. What does it mean by the way?

Since I am still in the excitement of the atmosphere, and since I do not have any picture to post yet, why not I post my own picture (get inside the basked and lift it myself….. hehehehe). Just wana revive the memory back into my forgetful brain. So I choose 2 pics, as they remain as my nice girl friend until now.

Dear Kath & Keyr…. I wish all the best for both of you in life…. Wherever you are.
