Parasailing

Today my Fiancee and I went to Sutera Harbour Sea Quest for a Parasailing activity. Upon arrival, we were informed that we cannot do it because the weather was not good for such activity. We were a bit disappointing and just about to leave when the person in charge made an effort to ask his supervisor (I guess) whether they can accomodate one slot for us. Thank God, they were willing to give us a shot and we were good to go.

We boarded the boat, put our life jacket on, surrendered our watches, handphone and car key to be kept by the operators. The only thing that I didn't give is my wallet. I put it on my front pocket. Why? because I didnt remember how much money left inside.

I don't really know how to explain the feelings... it's better for you to go and try it yourself... I guess it's similar like flying by plane, only not surrounded by composite wall and with low speed... Those of you who interested to give it a try, hopefully the following info will help:

P/S: If anything valuable dropped into the sea, there is no way you can find it back. So, don't bring unnecessary things together. Be as simple as possible...

Leaving to KL

We (My fiancee n I) done our pre-weds photoshoot yesterday. It took us half day to for the indoor photoshoot, which means I have to find one suitable day maybe in July or Aug to go for the second photoshoot. This time, it would be for both indoor and outdoor. It went well, we are satisfied with the way it is conducted. In fact, we had fun doing it with the friendly photographer.

The preparation and decision making time was really short for us. We only have 3 days to shortlist which bridal house we would want to go, and we only managed to visit three of them. We have to decide on the following day, and go for the photo session before my leave ends which means yesterday. With all the rush, we don't know how is it look like yet. Hopefully it turns out well lah.

Today would be my last day here. I feel sad definitely, to have to leave my loved ones back in here. I could not find any better place than Sabah, although I dont like most of the drivers here. My life would be perfect if I can find one prospectful job here and to settle down with my loved ones around. But, this seems not going to happen in near time. Anyhow, I have faith that someday, I will be back here for good :)

I am going to pack up now, leaving my comfy airconditioned room..... Even though my house is being surrounded by jungle, but everything is complete. I have everything I need :).

Holiday 1

I have been very busy last week due to my job commitment as I will be going for a long holiday starting on 20th Dec 09 until 3rd Jan 2010. Well, at last I made it. I am currently blogging peacefully inside my room. Going back to Sabah always meant to spend a quite unexpected amount of money compare to usual life in Penang. Why? Because Sabah is a great place to spend money without guilt :).

Talking about spending, I spent quite a lot of money last week just for my spectacle alone. I think it wasn't appropriate but it left me with no choice. I spent about RM 500 just for the frame. I felt guilty, but at the same time, reminding myself that is the price I have to pay due to my own ignorance. Lain kali kasi patah lagi tuh bingkai.... P'oto.

Secondly, I was contacted by my HR informing me that she did not received my leave application!!. Oh my goodness! I had submitted my application 1 month before, and she acknowledged the submission. But I guess she forgot. I told her that my leave suppose to start from yesterday until end of this year and asked her if anything she can do to rectify this matter. Thanks, she is willing to work on it.

I am very satisfied on how I spent my time for the past 2 days. Well, first of all, I went to Karambunai Resort without even planning on going there at the first place. Enjoying the nice view and walking together with my girl alongside the seashore really give me a sense of great relaxtion and excitement. This is me, happy without reason :)

Apart from that, I have been busy for my Engagement Day's preparation. There are numbers of things to be done, but I am having fun doing it with my love one. Christmas mood here is more appealing compare to Penang. Decorations, Frens and wishes are everywhere.... I managed to get a photoshot of me and my GF in 1Borneo. It was cheap and sweet!!

THE HECK

I woke up late today. It was 8.15am when I realized that I was still laying on my bed…. comfortably. But as usual, and I think it is my habit when it happened to be late to work….. I never rushed myself instead of preparing myself slowly and calmly. It always inside my mind that, once I late, how fast I rush myself, my attendance will still being recorded as ‘LATE’. They do not distinguish the time frame like 5 mins late, 10 mins late or so forth. So, why bother? Once late, embrace it and enjoy the ride.

I arrived at office like nobody business. Pretending that I just came back from meeting, sat on my table and switch on my computer, and straight away do my job like nothing happened. I am very good at pretending a.k.a ‘berlakon’. My colleague asked me….. “U got fever?” and I said… “No, I woke up late”.

I had been very busy lately. Lots of job coming at once, and require completion about the same due time. But, I learnt to control my stress. So, complete or not, I will walk out shortly after office hour is over. That is my principle.

I bought my September flight ticket to KK last 2 days. Actually I had seen it increasing day by day, week by week, from RM 400 something to RM 651 and lastly to RM700 something. I was so afraid that the price might climb up if I keep on delaying. And once I made my decision, the price already at RM748. So I delayed my flight to the next day, and managed to get a return ticket at RM651. So I bought it.

This evening I checked the Airasia.com website again, and I was very shocked, surprise and pissed off. The price for a return flight with exactly the same date and time to KK has dropped off by 40% from RM 651 to RM 385.

I was thinking what the TUUT is going around? What games are being played or what principles are being applied to decide the pricing? I thought the further you wait, the more expensive it will be. By logic, shouldn’t it be that way?

I think this people had learnt enough about consumer’s psychological behaviour. They know how people normally think and react and this is our fault for generously giving into their customer’s feedback survey. When most consumers including me have the same typical thoughts, the opposite will happen out of our expectation. Who will not be pissed off when such situation happens?

Then I thought about my December’s flight ticket which I bought about a month ago. I check the same route, same date and same time…… and again and again…. I am totally speechless!! The price has gone down by 11% from RM 319 to RM283.

So in the end, I lose about 30% out of RM 900++ due to my smart ass. This is a good example out of this case that, when buying ticket from Airasia.com, I should not plan in advance, especially when the hot promotions are being released.

The Appearance

It’s been a long time since my last update. I do not know what to write since every day I had been doing the same thing over and over again. So, I am not going to repeat them again and again plus I am lazy to do so.

My mobile phone is not doing well. I don’t really know why the contact lists has suddenly disappeared and lead me into trouble to memorize almost 200 contact numbers inside. I hardly memorize any number due to my short memory capability. Thus, I have to use back my very old phone while considering other options in near future.

Talking about job, well nothing interesting to tell so far. Job is job; the difference is just how you look at it. Anyhow, relationship and mood become better than before. Having a good boss is one of the reasons I should appreciate to be here.

This weekend I will be watching a movie: Transformer with my friend and my sister as well. My friend bought the ticket 3 days ago, and of course gets a good seat for all of us. Apart from that, there is a plan to go out for clubbing, but I have not finalized whether to join or not. Need to see who is going.

About my personal life, I had been planning around preparing for my future engagement which will take place this coming December. It’s a normal thing for everyone whom getting engage to think about related stuff, to prepare themselves in every aspect around.

Why people need to get engage? Can’t we just go and get married when the time comes? For me I would prefer the latter. But as to fulfill the requirement of the “ADAT” as insisted by my family so I have to follow it as a sign of respect. No offence to everyone. It’s just my opinion.

I plan to go back to Sabah during Hari Raya. I checked the flight ticket and found that return ticket cost up to MYR 650 from PNG-KK-PNG for both MAS & Airasia. I am still thinking whether want to buy or not. But, looking at the 9 days holiday, I think its worth to buy (busy pressing my calculator now). At least I get to go back 2 times this year compare to 3 times/year in the previous time.

A Lone Ranger Trip

First of All, I would like to take this chance to say Happy New Year to everybody. Guess all of you have great holidays and are well prepared to come back to work next week. I am not looking forward to go to work anyway.

I guess the first day of New Year was not a good start for me to have this kind of ‘feel good’ feeling. Though most of the previous days I really enjoy many things, but when life full of thrill suddenly change to nothing to do, it feels like the world has stop turning.

So due to great boredom (yesterday), I decided to go to Ranau. That was a sudden decision anyway, as earlier I only planned to drive around and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful scenery along the road. Anyway, after a series of SMSes with my friend, Carl, I decided to go to his place in Ranau. He promised to bring me around (Earlier he said mandi air panas Poring). Whatever it is, as long as I can kill this boredom, it doesn’t matter.

So, I left around 5:00 pm, in a broad day light. You can see the mountain Kinabalu at the back. I light up my cigarette and enjoyed the smoke.

In a sudden, everything started to change. Everywhere getting dark & darker. It was just 5:30 pm i think. A deep fog is coming.

It's not a big deal. I still can see.

But, suddenly it seems that the fog is getting thicker ahead.

I kept going. Temperature getting lower. I was shivering eventhough i didn't put the A/C on.

I told myself..... "It's getting worse"

I put my lights on..... I can hardly see the car infront of me.

And this is the worst. But, I continued driving.

That's it.....

Arrived at Ranau town around 6:30pm. My friend came to fetch me shortly, and he drove off to his house while deciding what to do next. I suggested going to Poring Hot Spring directly and have something to eat there and drink whiskey in the hot water. He said the food there is not that nice and less variety. He suggested going Kundasang since the foods are better and as he tried to group some friends to visit the nearby club. We were suggesting an opposite direction to go!!

As we stopped at the intersection to make a final decision, finally I agree with his plan. But in the end, we only had dinner as I didn’t bring extra clothing for clubbing. After all, makan is the most imortant thing and to be prioritize. Nothing can justify the need of eating.

After dinner, a thing which was never in our planning came. And that how we spend the rest of the night. I never played before, but i got 'on the job training' from the PRO, and straight away gambling. I ended up losing RM3. Consider good for beginner.

Double Celebration

On the 27th Dec 2008 marked a very special day for my twin brother and his fiancée as it was the day they were announced as a husband and wife. Congratulations to both of them. Claps, claps….. May God bless their marriage and have a bountiful grace in life ahead.

Reception was held at Beverly Hills Hotel, with the presence of family and relatives of the bride and groom. Besides that, most of my old and close friends also attended, and made the celebration more meaningful and full of joy. I enjoyed the nice food and lovely atmosphere. Everybody seems to be happy, broad smiles in everybody’s face, a perfect description of happiness.

I even tried to show up my dancing skills…. The very first time dancing the poco-poco on the dance floor. But, since everybody knew it very well, and done it like a pro, I only make myself look like a fool. I gave up in less than 5 minutes.

After the wedding party ended, my friends and I continued our drinking and partying session. We started around 11:00p.m and ended around 5:30a.m. We were tired and drunk!!.... Next morning was a different story. And as usual, the life in Sabah, during festive season, is always interesting and full of fun.

A Day

Yesterday I watched this movie at CATHAY CINEPLEXES-KOTA KINABALU. It's a nice movie for me..... I like the storyline and the thrills and the actions..... Apart from that, the hall's temperature was within my comfort level.

By the way, I think the sound system is not as good as the GSC 1 Utama and GSC Pavilion. I've been there many times, so i can tell the difference. Another thing is about the seat. It's shorter where you only can lean your back, cannot lean ur neck and head, incase you want to sleep if the movie turns out to be boring.

Anyway, CATHAY CINEPLEXES-CINELEISURE DAMANSARA, PETALING JAYA, is awesome for me, not others. Probably I should try GSC 1 Borneo to see how it's look like.

I just hope this movie will make my day on the 6th/9 of my holiday. Is it the 6th already??!!! What an envious time. I don't wana go back there!!.

I would like to introduce to all of you, Mr Bintik, a very faithful dog. He never forgotton me, and treated me like a stranger eventhough i only back home once in a 5 months. Thanks God, my look never change since 7 years ago.

As relax as he seems to be in the picture, you should be very careful of him. He bites!!

Last but not least (Betul ka ni?), My sickness getting worse. I really can feel it right now, is's getting worst!!. Why now? Why not in KL? so that i can take M/C. I would like to tell this FLU, that i still have a full leaves for M/C. Please attack me during a time I am eligble to apply for a M/C. Not now!!

So, i came to see the doctor, and see what she gave me. Anyway, my main purpose is not promoting any clinic. When i walked around into looking for a clinic, that was the first clinic i saw, and i hope the medicines they gave me can restore my health back. After that only i can give due credit. hehe.
